The expansion of Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport at Mumbai saw a designed capacity of 40million passengers per annum. To achieve this, investment would take place in the major development of runway / taxiway systems, aprons, new terminals, access roads, integrated transportation system and other ancillary facilities including a massive landside development for 450 Acres of Land.

GVK group was awarded the redevelopment contract and contracted Frischmann Prabhu India for works including cost planning, project phasing, preparation of cash flow, and the review of detailed designs for various infrastructure components such as roads, SWD, sewerage, illumination, signals etc.

We also provided detailed analysis of traffic and transportation components such as car parking, impact of land side development using VISUM software.
