IIT Mandi is the first IIT in the Himalayas with a total area of 538 acres, of which about 200 acres are flat land while the rest is mountainous. The campus at Kamand will be developed as a sustainable township, which will have over 20 years from now a population of 20,000. The project includes 1000 seats Auditorium, UG/PG Laboratories and Research Laboratories, Workshop, Library, Computer and Internet Center, Healthcare Center, Students Activity Center, Sports Complex, Hostels for Boys and Girls.

Description
The project envisages around 78,000 populations with BUA of around 17,04,000 sq.m. Total No of Units: 11,512. The infrastructure assessment estimates the total water demand is around 7.6 MLD with sewage generation of 10.5 MLD. The estimated power demand is around 73 MVA with 220kv/22kv EHV station. The parking demand is around 7000 cars with the provision of cycle tracks and pedestrian movement. The planning of infrastructure makes provision of around 18 STP’s, centralized hydro pneumatic water supply system, solid waste management for 35 T/day waste and drainage network of 17 kms.

Description
Fortune City developed by Hirnandani Communities in Panvel, Navi Mumbai. Located between the old Mumbai–Pune Highway (NH4) and the Mumbai-Pune Expressway and is accessible from both these roads. This will be a place nearer to the planned infrastructure projects such as Mumbai Trans-harbor link & the Navi Mumbai International Airport. The Fortune City development is part of a larger development which extends to around 450 acres. The total estimated population is around 3.22 lakhs, spread across 37000 residential units, 17 commercial plots and amenity buildings. The project envisages mix used development with predominantly residential use. The other land uses such as institutional, retail, commercial, social are planned in an integrated manner with a vision to support the overall development of the city. In order to provide a sustainable infrastructure after careful study of the master plan and the available resources, appointed FPPMC as infrastructure consultant.
